BEST Growth Hub Show 

Held at Hylands House in Chelmsford on Thursday 7th February, this FREE show promises to share lots of opportunities for small and medium businesses. Opening on the day is Mark Dixon, billionare businessman, CEO and founder of IWG. More importantly Mark was born and bred in Essex, ready to impart his valuable knowledge for new and existing businesses. Make sure you are at the show for 10am sharp as Mark is set to talk at 10.15! We wouldn’t want you to miss out. A selection of workshops will feature on the day, all completely free and a perfect opportunity for you to find the answers to your questions and build on your business contacts.
MALDON DISTRICT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN’S BUSINESS AWARDS
The Chairman of Maldon District Council, Councillor Henry Bass, is pleased to announce the launch of Maldon District Council Chairman’s Business Awards for 2018 and invites nominations.  These prestigious awards are open to all businesses, based in the Maldon District, and have the following categories:
  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
  • New Business of the Year Award
  • Fast Track Business of the Year Award
  • Best Established Business of the Year Award
  • Social Enterprise Business of the Year Award
There will also be an overall Business of the Year Award taken from these categories.
The Award winners will be announced at an afternoon tea event which is to take place on Friday 22 February 2019, at Crowne Plaza – Five Lakes.
Businesses can either nominate themselves or they can be nominated by others.

We are proud to be at the popular Quay Day where we are holding a charity tombola.
We are asking members and non members to donate prizes for our Tombola for quay day!
You can leave a message on your prize by way of business advertisement.
All proceeds will go to our 2 chosen charities, Community First Responders & Burnham Museum.
The chamber shall also be giving away free sweets to all children that come and say Hello on the day!
